Metaverse:

Metaverse is a word that is used to talk about the online virtual world. It is made up of all the websites, games, and social media sites that people use. In other words, it means the same thing as “cyberspace.” But it is also a lot more than what most of us know as cyberspace. Neal Stephenson used the term for the first time in his book Snow Crash. In the book, the Metaverse is described as a three-dimensional virtual world where people can interact with each other and with computer-made characters. In some ways the metaverse mirrors our own world and more and more businesses are offering parts of their experiences and services to users in virtual reality.
